Charlie Chamberlain is a multi-talented songwriter, producer, and guitarist with an impressive career spanning nearly two decades in the music industry. Originally from South Carolina, he now calls Nashville home, where he resides with his wife of 15 years and their son.

 

Charlie's musical journey began as a touring musician, performing with various Bluegrass and Country bands across 48 states and 28 foreign countries. This extensive touring experience laid the foundation for his transition into songwriting and producing. His breakthrough came after Asheville, NC's Songs From The Road Band recorded over a dozen of his original songs and who’s album "Waiting on a Ride," produced by Chamberlain himself, debuted at #3 on the Billboard Bluegrass Charts and #1 on the Roots Music Reports Contemporary Bluegrass Charts.

 

Since moving to Nashville in 2015, Chamberlain has solidified his position as a sought-after producer, working as a resident at the acclaimed Forty-one Fifteen studio in East Nashville where his contributions to audio post-production have earned him three prestigious Grammy Participation awards, further cementing his reputation in the industry.

 

Boasting over 50 independent cuts in the Bluegrass, Americana, Country and Pop genre, Chamberlain's songwriting prowess is a testament to his versatility, skill and dedication to the craft.  In 2023 he was recognized by the legendary Kerrville Folk Festival as a New Folk Finalist and was a featured performer both the festival and at the Southwest Folk Alliance in Austin, TX. .

 

Charlie is also an accomplished songwriting teacher, four time Grammy U mentor and has presented at workshops and camps across the US.  He is a voting member of both the Americana Music Association and the Recording Academy, and actively contributing to the growth and recognition of these genres.
